Waco is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Waco follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I am so highly giving Darden Building 5 stats for the service they have provided for me over the last two years. They have always been very nice to me and my family. Even letting my son pick a small toy out from behind their desk. They helped me source limestone slabs, limestone blocks, mortar and more. I highly recommend this place. They simply take care of you and leave a great impression.

We purchased flooring in 2022 for our remodel. Mike Regian helped us pick through everything and explain the process. I had a third party do the installation when we laid the floors due to a friendship. Fast forward to fall 2023, the vinyl plank flooring we picked was cupping/bowing and separating at the seams. I contacted Mike and asked if there was anything we could do. A representative from Darden and the manufacturer came out and looked over everything to see about filing a warranty claim. After a few months of waiting and not hearing much I reached back out to Mike. He continuously messaged and called the manufacturer to make sure we were taken care of after receiving a letter from them stating the claim was denied. His persistence and care about the customer is what finally led to us getting the flooring warrantied. When I picked the flooring up Mike and I discussed installation options and prices. Mike wanted to make things right due to the issues with the manufacturer. The guys showed up two weeks later and went to work. They were professional, polite, and very hard working. They moved our furniture, removed the old flooring, and down with the new. The attention to detail a

I prepaid for the installation of a special-order propane fireplace unit. Installation of the unit, which should have been a 6-hour project, was repeatedly interrupted and rescheduled due to the following issues: (a) the worker had to reschedule 4 additional trips due to not bringing the correct tools to the job site (stating the tools were in his β€œother truck”), (b) the worker had to reschedule 2 additional trips due to not bringing all the necessary boxes, (c) the worker had to reschedule 1 additional trip due to a problem caused by installing the incorrect regulator and mistakenly thinking it was a problem with the propane tank (according to information I subsequently received from a propane company), and (d) the worker had to reschedule 1 additional trip after I complained about the fact that, to secure a metal cap to the top of my chimney, he had merely placed a brick on it. Because their worker repeatedly made errors resulting in the need for additional trips, Darden charged me an additional $384.97 in β€œtrip charges” over and above the original, prepaid invoice. Moreover, no one at Darden (including the worker that I talked to every time he was here) told me they were making

So we went to Darden to pick out stone for our home. They were nice enough but they stated our stone would be delivered in 2 weeks. Over 3 weeks later and after phone calls, they finally delivered the chopped stone but not the flagstone, mortar, anchors, etc. After waiting a few days thinking they would show up with it, called them again and was told it would be delivered in a couple days. Wrong. A week later is shows up only to be short 2 pallets of flagstone. Another phone call on Monday and was told it would be delivered either Tuesday or Thursday. Wrong again. Called them again on the following Monday and was told it would be delivered that day, which it was. No apologies just excuses. One other thing, the flagstone they have on display looks really nice but what you get delivered is awful. Our mason said he hadn't ever seen such poor quality stone. The flagstone is hardly usable for a sidewalk or steps. I'll never do business with or recommend Darden Building Materials to anyone.
